KENT—The Eric Sloane Museum, 31 Kent Cornwall Rd., will host a blacksmithing basics workshop Sunday, July 28, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The program will explore blacksmithing techniques and methods through a hands-on workshop. taught by blacksmithing expert Ian McCarthy. Students will learn the basics of hand forging and design layout all while using traditional tools and methods to create a one-of-a-kind finished products. Pre-registration is required.
