SALISBURY, Conn.—Dr. Miguel Cardona, chair of the Connecticut Career Pathways Commission, former commissioner of the Connecticut State Department of Education, and the 12th United States Secretary of Education, will discuss Evolving Education, Issues Facing America’s Young Adults and the Educators Who Guide Them during the Friday, Sept. 18, at the next Salisbury Forum.

The forum will be held at 7:30 p.m. at Housatonic Valley Regional High School.
Cardona will discuss the current landscape of education and the challenges facing students and educators, while offering guidance and encouragement to support student success. He will examine the impact of education policy, the need for sustainable career pathways and the promises and limitations of higher education in supporting those pathways.
