KENT, Conn.—The Firefly Environmental Arts Project and Marvelwood School will honor the environmental legacy of the late Dr. Jane Goodall Friday, April 10, at Marvelwood School Performing Arts Center, 476 Skiff Mountain Road.

There will be a collaborative student and professional nature-inspired art exhibit and refreshments beginning at 5 p.m., followed by the keynote speaker, Priscilla Woolworth, a friend of Goodall’s.
Woolworth, who was named a Green Pioneer by TIME magazine, will share how her friendship with Jane Goodall influenced and deepened her commitment to environmental stewardship. Through her regenerative farm, eco-friendly store and bi-monthly newsletter highlighting positive environmental action, she continues to champion practical, hopeful solutions.
She is also the author of “LOLA: Lots of Love Always,” a book about living sustainably and making healthy choices that are good for both people and the planet.
Students from Housatonic Valley Regional High School, Marvelwood, Millbrook and South Kent schools will speak about their own environmental efforts that align with Dr. Goodall’s values.
