Kent is gearing up for America’s 250th with handcrafted medallions, a commemorative quilt, colonial-era paintings, and a high schooler heading to Hartford to represent the town. The Lights & Liberty Parade kicks off July 3, with a full day of celebration July 4 at Kent Town Hall.
