KENT, Conn.—The Kent Social Services Department will offer QPR Gatekeeper Training in suicide prevention Monday, Jan. 26, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at town hall, 41 Kent Green Blvd.
Attendees will learn: how to question, persuade and refer someone who may be suicidal, common causes of suicidal behavior, the warning signs of suicide, and how to get help for oneself or others in crisis.
