Stockdale addressed the crowd this past Saturday, Jan. 10.

The largest of the flags was created with the participation of nearly 1,000 people to celebrate and honor the 250th anniversary of our United States of America.

This flag is part of Stockdale’s’s ongoing series of USA art flags built to celebrate the diversity of the communities living together here in the United States of America. As an immigrant, Stockdale is awed by the harmonious co-existence of Americans who celebrate their freedom in all possible ways.

Her series of innovative U.S. Flags invite viewers to consider a broader look at what patriotism is now and can be in the future.
