SHARON, Conn.—Sharon Playhouse welcomes Yale University’s Purple Crayon, America’s oldest collegiate longform improv group, on Saturday, Feb. 7, for a day of improv workshops for youth, teens and adults.

Each 90-minute workshop is designed to build creativity and confidence through playful games and storytelling.

No experience is required.

Children ages 7-11 will participate between 2:30 and 4 p.m. in an imaginative introduction to improv led by Yale students.

Youths and teens ages 12 to 17 get their opportunity from 4:30 to 6 p.m. with high-energy games and scenes that focus on quick thinking, teamwork and storytelling.

Finally, adults older than 18 can try their hands from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in a playful, welcoming workshop focused on spontaneous storytelling, laughter and trying something new.
