KENT, Conn.—The Kent Social Services Back to School drive received a $250 donation from the Kent Republican Town Committee.
The fund provides needy Kent families with school supplies, backpacks and gift cards for clothing. It services approximately 25 students.
“The Kent Republican Town Committee was proud to lend a hand to help the less fortunate in our community,” said Joseph Agli, treasurer for the RTC.
Past donations have aided the Kent Community Nursery School as well as service organizations such as the Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation and Tunnels to Towers.
