Arno sustained a traumatic brain injury on July 24, 2025, as the result of a motor vehicle accident. He continues to recover in long-term rehabilitation, demonstrating great strength, resilience and determination throughout his journey.

The walkathon is an opportunity for the community to come together in support of the young man and his family while raising awareness for traumatic brain injury recovery. The event will include a one-mile walk, yard games, snacks and water, and everyone welcome to attend.

All donations and proceeds from the event will go directly to Arno and his family to help with ongoing medical expenses, rehabilitation, therapies, equipment, transportation and long-term care.
