KENT, Conn.—The Kent Conservation Commission announces the release of its newly updated Trails Guide, offering residents and visitors an enhanced resource for exploring Kent’s extensive network of scenic trails, preserves, and open spaces.

The updated guide features refreshed trail information, hand-drawn maps of the 19 trails, and a history of the town’s diverse natural landscapes.
Designed for hikers of all experience levels, the guide showcases Kent’s forests, rivers, wildlife habitats and panoramic vistas to inspire stewardship of its natural resources.
“The updated Trails Guide reflects our continued commitment to preserving and sharing Kent’s remarkable outdoor spaces,” said Jean Speck, chair of the Kent Conservation Commission. “With more than 30 miles of trails in Kent—many within five minutes of the village center—hikers of all levels can discover the beauty of Kent’s trails and deepen their appreciation for conservation and recreation.”
Printed copies of the Trails Guide will be available at House of Books, The Sportsmen’s Connection, the Kent Land Trust’s tent at the Kent Farmer’s Market on Fridays in the village, and at the Kent Land Trust Community Picnic on Memorial Day.
Residents, visitors, and their leashed four-legged friends are encouraged to enjoy the trails responsibly by staying on marked paths, carrying out waste, respecting wildlife, and following posted rules.
