TORRINGTON, Conn.—The Northwest Connecticut Chamber of Commerce and the Northwest Hills Council of Governments will hold the 2026 Economic Development Summit Thursday, May 28, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Five Points Art Center, 855 University Drive.

The session will look at relevant topics for the Northwest Corner and offer an opportunity for participants to connect with local leaders. Business leaders in all industries, business owners, municipal officials, elected officials as well as members of land use agencies, tourism organizations and the like are urged to attend.
The fee is $15 per person with a Mashed Potato Bar provided by Little Red Barn. There will be a cash bar.
