KENT, Conn.—Bestselling author Patrick Ness will give a talk and sign his new book, “Piper at the Gate of Dusk,” in the space above House of Books, 10 North Main Street, on Saturday, April 25, between 6 and 7 p.m.

The event space is only accessible by stairs.
“Piper at the Gates of Dusk” is the first in a new science fiction trilogy set in the same world as Ness’s “The Knife of Never Letting Go” and “Chaos Walking” series.
