AMENIA, N.Y.—Troutbeck resort at 515 Leedsville Road will present an acoustic evening on Saturday, March 28, with poet Buddy Wakefield and singer-songwriter Holly Miranda.

Wakefield is an actor, writer, producer, and three-time world champion spoken word artist who has been featured on the BBC, HBO’s Def Poetry Jam, ABC Radio National and has been signed to both Sage Francis’ Strange Famous Records as well as Ani DiFranco’s Righteous Babe Records.
Miranda is a versatile songwriter and music producer from Detroit who emerged onto the New York music scene in the late ’90s. She co‑founded The Jealous Girlfriends in the early 2000s in the Williamsburg, Brooklyn, art scene.
Doors will open at 4:30 p.m. followed by performances from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in Troutbeck’s ballroom.
