NEW MILFORD, Conn.—The town of New Milford and Litchfield Crossings will co-sponsor a Food Truck Festival and a Touch A Truck event, both at Litchfield Crossings on Saturday, Oct. 18, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 169 Danbury Road.

Young attendees will have the thrill of climbing into the driver’s seats of a variety of vehicles, honking the horns of police cruisers, fire engines and real race cars, all while deejay Beth Conkey provides the background music.
A menu of lobster rolls, chowder, crepes, and more will be available.
The dual event also features a collection of inflatables courtesy of SuperFun Inflatables. Tots, tweens and teens can whiz down super slides, run obstacle courses and bounce around fantasy castles.
BrightPath Child Care Center will provide face painting.
This year’s event benefits the Community Fuel Bank of New Milford, a special fund shared by the New Milford Senior Center and New Milford Social Services that aids in keeping families in need warm during the winter months.
Kristen Gizzi, executive director of Litchfield Crossings, thanked the event participants including All American Waste, Jennings Oil, The New Milford Police Department, Candlewood Valley Motors, and FSM Services.”
