KENT, Conn.—The town’s America 250 Subcommittee invites the community to play an active role in commemorating the 250th celebration of the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 2026.
It has entered the 250-hour-long “Give 250 Connecticut” contest, which runs from July 1-11, to qualify for a larger prize.
Donations of any size will support an array of enriching events, including lectures, informative workshops and a townwide celebration on July 4 in 2026.
