KENT—This is the last week to catch the Kent Art Association’s Mixed Media Invitational show, which closes this Sunday, May 4.
Featured artists include Carolyn Cohen, Amanda Lynne, Amber Maida, Heather Neilson, Justin Perlman, Regina Quinn, Andrew Riecker, Brooke Toczylowski and Hanna Washburn.
There will be an artist’s talk by Brooke Toczylowski on Sunday at 1 p.m. She is an interdisciplinary artist who uses found objects plants and fugitive natural inks that ask viewers to immerse themselves in questions about our historical, social and ecological relationship to land.
The public is welcome to this free talk.
The gallery hours are Thursday through Saturday, 1 to 5 p.m and Sunday noon to 4 p.m. Kent Art Association is located at 21 South Main St.
